S4C now available with ClickView TV

We are pleased to announce that S4C is now part of ClickView TV.

ClickView TV allows you to find, edit and keep the TV programmes you want to share with your students. Welsh schools can now set homework tasks based on both Welsh and English programmes with S4C TV content in ClickView.

ClickView now records and stores all S4C TV programmes for Welsh schools and colleges to access via the ClickView platform. Schools and colleges will also be able to access videos from the S4C archive in ClickView. The new partnership empowers Welsh educators with access to local and current educational content that will support their teaching and deepen student understanding.

With ClickView you can find any programme from the past 30 days. You can even pinpoint the right piece of content with our subtitle keyword search, available in English and Welsh.

We’ll even do all the manual work required to remove a programme’s adverts for you and select the audience rating, leaving you more time to do what really matters: delivering the best educational videos to your students.

“We’ve seen first-hand the powerful impact that video learning has on driving student engagement and performance. Over the last couple of months we have worked together with S4C to bring more Welsh educational content to students and teachers by providing full TV recording of S4C programmes directly into ClickView. This will help support teachers in being able to deliver more engaging content inside and outside the classroom with a focus on local Welsh content. Our team in the UK is eagerly excited to be working with more Welsh schools on bringing deeper learning with video. We would also like to extend a warm thanks to Mererid Llwyd at Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen, Caernarfon who has been working closely with the ClickView team to bring S4C educational content to more Welsh schools.”

“Education is a major tool in strengthening the future of the Welsh language and the availability of high-quality teaching materials is key to that. S4C is pleased that it has partnered with ClickView to make sure its content is available to teachers in Welsh schools. This is the type of partnership I’m keen to see as we support our ambition to grow the numbers of Welsh speakers in Wales.”

S4C Chief Executive
