This programme is entirely in Japanese. Two young native speakers, Yui and Yayoi, introduce themselves to us and tell us about student life in Japan.
We gain an insight into their life in Japan, including school and the education system, family life, sports and hobbies, and food. The pair also take us through the making of okonmiyaki (Japanese pancakes), which is a popular activity for students at school. There is also a demonstration about the correct use and etiquette involved with eating food with chopsticks.
This programme is an excellent learning resource to assist senior level students of Japanese develop and practice vocabulary and sentence structure – at the same time providing a glimpse of contemporary Japanese culture. Show Less
