Rectilinear Propagation of Light
An image of an object is its reflection produced by a mirror when the object is placed in front of it. Images are of two types—real and virtual. A real image is inverted, smaller than the object, and can be obtained on a screen. A virtual image is upright and cannot be obtained on the screen.
