Carmel Bones, leading educationalist and honorary fellow of the Historical Association, will provide practical pedagogical examples of how to captivate your class, improve teaching and learning and ensure deeper understanding through video:

  • How to find and use great video teaching and learning content to engage student
  • Use broadcast TV to bring learning to life
  • Combine video and formative assessment tools to ensure understanding and support learner progress

Carmel will use history as an example subject, but the principles resonate across all subject areas.’ By attending this session delegates will see how to improve lesson quality, save valuable teachers time and improve outcomes for pupils.
