Applies to: ClickView Library Manager Article ID: 0041 Last Review: 08/12/2009
The working path of the ClickView Digital Video Recorder is the directory in which it temporarily stores the video data files which it creates during the recording process.
The working path can be altered by following these instructions:
WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious, system-wide problems that may require you to reinstall Windows NT to correct them. Microsoft does not guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use this tool at your own risk.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Close the ClickView Library Manager application
Open Registry Editor (START -> Run -> regedit)
Within the registry, go to: 'My Computer' -> 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE' -> 'SOFTWARE' -> 'ClickView' -> 'ClickView Library'
Add a new String value to the 'ClickView Library' key called 'CapturePath'
Set the value of CapturePath to the path of the new location for video which is to be captured. Ensure that the datapath ends with a '\'. ie. D:\ or C:\VideoData\
Close Registry Editor
Open the ClickView Library Manager application
