When running Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 , with Service Pack 2 or greater, the Windows Firewall will automatically be switched on by default and configured to block incoming connections from all untrusted applications (ie. applications not published by Microsoft themselves). This will block all ClickView Player and ClickView Library Manager connections to the ClickView Library Server.

The following steps will allow the ClickView Library Server to accept connections through the Windows Firewall:

Step-by-Step Instructions

1) Open Control Panel. Then open ‘Windows Firewall’.

2) Select the ‘Exceptions’ tab

3) Click the ‘Add Port…’ button

4) Enter the following values:

Name: ClickView Library Server
Port number: 9053

Then select ‘TCP’.

5) Press ‘OK’ .

ClickView Library Server will now allow incoming requests from the ClickView Player via port 9053.

If you plan to use the ClickView Library Manager for remote administration please continue with the below steps, if not please Press the 'OK' button to finish.

6) Click on the ' Add Port ' button again ( as in Step 3)

7) Enter the following values:

Name: ClickView Library Manager
Port number: 9054

Then select ‘TCP’.

8) Press 'OK' and then 'OK' again.

ClickView Library Server will now allow incoming requests from the ClickView Library Manager via port 9054.
