New Features, Updates & Fixes:

ClickView 24-7 Manager

  • Introduction of the ClickView 24-7 Manager Search.
    The Search feature available in the ClickView 24-7 Manager gives the user the ability to search the ClickView 24-7 recordings for specific topics or keywords listing the results in a easy to access format (a simple ClickView 24-7 update is required to activate this feature).
  • The ClickView 24-7 Manager will now automatically import subtitles on programs where they are available.

ClickView Library Server

  • Introduction of new metadata fields in the ClickView Library Server adding support for asset tagging and series grouping.
  • ClickView Library Server Usage Report can now be exported to an Excel format.
  • The ClickView DataFeeder will now contain the ClickView Wireless or ClickView Home URL links if they are available.
  • The ClickView Library Server now supports Windows Server 2008 with the Required Features installed.

  • ( Note ClickView Digital Video Recorder & ClickView 24/7 Manager are not available in Windows Server 2008 )

ClickView Home

  • Major update on the ClickView Home Synchronisation process greatly improving the overall funtionality of the web Synchronisation and Upload Process
  • Improved Video Sychronisation, Conversion & Uploading information now available in the ClickView Home Manager on the ClickView Library Server
  • Video Synchronisation process now stabily supports selection of the complete database for ClickView Home synchronisation

ClickView Exchange

  • ClickView Exchange Server now supports connections via standard web protocols (HTTP traffic over port 80)
  • ClickView Exchange Client will now attempt to access the ClickView Exchange via an Experimental HTTP ( Port 80 ) connection if the default prefered connection, via TCP port 9054, is not able to connect to the nominated ClickView Exchange Server.

  • Note these changes are still experimental at this stage but they should allow schools with restricted web access a greater ability to access the ClickView Exchange

Learning Objects Manager

  • A complete Update of the ClickView Learning Objects Manager has been performed now allowing all traffic to connect Via standard web protocols (HTTP traffic over port 80)
  • Learning Objects Manager will now only download the files you have selected to add to your ClickView Library rather than pre-cache the Learning Objects collection as previously occured
  • The new Learning Objects Manager now has a search facility able to seach a locally cached list of files available on the LORAX Proxy
  • Supports the latest protocols for the Learning Foundation resource feed

ClickView Digital Video Recorder

  • Added Support for the Hauppauge HVR-1700 capture card
  • Completed Scheduled recordings will now appear in the "Step 2 Edit " area with the Time, Date & Channel listed

Podcast Manager & Podcast Download Manager

  • Improved support for Podcast XML feeds.
  • Better handling of errors due to problems in Podcast XML feeds

Access Manager

  • The ClickView Access Manager user list is now refreshed every day at midnight
  • Warning when the Created User Groups in the ClickView Library Server no longer matches the Specified Active Directory Users/groups
  • Warning when a user was potentially matched to wrong group
  • Access Manager now supports up to 30 User Groups ( this is now up from the previous limit of 14 )

Known Issues:

  • On Windows Vista systems only, when trying to add WMV & AVI files into ClickView Library Server Via the ClickView Digital Video Recorder you may experience an error relating to the " MP3 Bitrate " when trying to complete "Step 3" currently there is no work around for this error.
  • When uploading to the ClickView Exchange Server Via Port 80 you may experience a delay in the file being available online or some problems uploading correctly. This is due to the way some Proxy Servers handle outgoing traffic.

ClickView Library Server & ClickView Library Manager

  • The ClickView Access Manager log file size issue has been address with reduced logging of extraneous data.
  • Fixed the error messages when opening the ClickView Library Server/Manager under a restricted user.
  • The Digital Video Recorder system information check will now store the 'DVRSystemProfie.xml' file in the user temporary directory.

ClickView 24-7 Manager

  • Edit accuracy has been adjusted when editing content in the ClickView 24-7 Manager.
  • Improved logging of the ClickView 24-7 Manager when in use.
  • Screen Right notice is attached to all content added through the ClickView 24-7 Manager
  • Fixed a random issue regarding an invalid video licence on some videos added through ClickView 24-7 Manager.

ClickView Digital Recorder

  • Screenrights notice (AUS/NZ) is now attached to all content added through the ClickView Digital Video Recorder.
  • ClickView Digital Video Recorder configuration files now stored in the Users DVR Capture folder rather than the ClickView Library Managers installation folder.
  • Adjusted Edit accuracy when editing content throught the ClickView DVR.
  • Fixed an issue where the Digital Video Recorder would not open and report a system requirments error due to System Requirements utility unable to confirm the system informations.

  • (Note: ClickView Digital Video Recorder & ClickView 24/7 Manager are not available in the ClickView Library Server 1.7.1.2 & above)

ClickView Exchange

  • ClickView Exchange Server updated to address stability issues since the added support for HTTP Port 80 connections.
  • update to the ClickView Exchange Client connection process greatly improving download stability over TCP port 9054 and HTTP port 80.
  • Update on the ClickView Exchange Client to address the corruption of uploads to the ClickView Exchange Server.
  • ClickView Exchange Client now has improved upload stability to address reported issues uploading to the ClickView Exchange.
  • ClickView Exchange client now has improved handling of lost internet conectivity during Upload/Download.

ClickView Home

  • Modified the conversion proccess for Windows Server 2008 support.
  • Improved the Synchronisation process with the ClickView Home Servers.
  • Fixed an issue where invalid ClickView Home links were being created.

ClickView Wireless

  • Modified the conversion proccess for Windows Server 2008 support.

Known Issues:
