The ClickView Library Server 1.6 Backup Utility can now be scheduled to automatically back up your ClickView Library data on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. This process is completely automated and does not require the ClickView Library Server application to be open or a user to be logged on the computer.
Once enabled the scheduled backup will commence the day, week or month from the last time the backup completed. If there was no previous backup it will commence the next day, week or month after the scheduled process was enabled.
The scheduled backup process outputs all notifications and errors encountered to the ClickView Library Server log file "ClickViewLibraryLog.txt", which can be found in the ClickView Library installation folder. If a scheduled backup did not successfully complete you will be notified next time the ClickView Library Server application is started up.
To schedule a daily, weekly or monthly backup open the ClickView Library Server application, click on the "Tools" menu and open the "Backup Utility". In the Backup Utility window tick the "Schedule Backup" box and choose from daily, weekly or monthly frequency and the time to run. Then click on the "Apply" button to save your settings.
Note:
The scheduled times can only be set between 6PM and 6AM to prevent disruptions during normal usage hours. The backup process will automatically pause at other times.
To disable scheduling the backup utility simply un-tick the box.
