ClickView Exchange uses TCP/IP Port 9054 to communicate data between the ClickView Exchange client and the ClickView Exchange Server.
The following network diagnostic test can be performed in order to determine whether outgoing TCP/IP connection requests through Port 9054 can be sent through your internet gateway firewall to the ClickView Exchange Server.
Diagnostic Test
- Open command-prompt. (START -> Run -> 'cmd' -> OK)
- Type telnet exchange.clickview.com.au 9054 and press Enter
This will simulate a simple TCP/IP connection request through Port 9054 to exchange.clickview.com.au
A successful connection will result in the below screenshot. As this TCP/IP Port 9054 connection request was able to successfully reach exchange.clickview.com.au, a failed connection to the ClickView Exchange Server from this computer is most likely due to an incorrect username/password combination.
An unsuccessful connection will result in the below screenshot. This would indicate that your network's internet gateway router or internet gateway firewall is failing to allow outgoing connection requests through Port 9054 to reach the ClickView Exchange Server.
