ClickView Home can be configured to automatically convert and upload your ClickView Library Server contents to the ClickView Home server – this is called “Synchronisation”. You have complete control over when this happens. We recommend you set the Synchronisation to occur during your school’s off-peak internet usage times, for example 10pm to 8am.
First you select which videos are to be synchronised, then from within the Synchronisation window you set all the parameters for when synchronisation occurs.

That’s really up to you.
You can upload:
- any videos you have captured from free-to-air (shows added to the ClickView Library Server, recorded through the ClickView Digital Video Recorder or added from ClickView 24-7).
- Principal's announcements and have this video playing on your website.
- school events and have them available on your
VLE
or intranet.
- any video that is in the ClickView Digital Video Library

Every video in your library should be able to be uploaded.
We recommend you get permission from parents before allowing their students to appear online as part of a video you have uploaded on your ClickView Home account.

On the Video Sync screen in the ClickView Home Manager, the window on the right lets you know the status of your video synchronisation. Sometime not all videos can be compressed and synchronised in one night (if you have selected a large number of videos to be synchronised for example). Firstly videos are compressed, then the upload process begins.
You can tell which videos have been synchronised by a ‘Yes’ in the Uploaded column (example below)

If you decide to no longer offer a video through ClickView Home, you can desynchronise the video on the ClickView Home Manager Video Sync screen.
Right-click on the video you want to desynchronise and choose “Never Synchronise ”. This video will no longer be able to be accessed via the ClickView Home links.
This also means you regain this space on the ClickView Home servers to upload other videos!
